Rainbow Lizard

When I get in an art rut, I dig out my collection of Tattoo Idea! Magazines ([link]) and redraw a design from there. It's mostly to let my brain slip into neutral, experiment and play around with colours, just enjoy whatever media I'm working with at the time.

This design is inspired by one of the tattoos in the aforementioned mag but it was solid black, very "tribal". I love to mess around with colour and I had recently bought a tin of Prismacolor pencils

You can probably make out "06" in the signature, yep, this is 6 years old. It's an absolute perfect example of what happens if I don't scan stuff immediately after finishing it I have gotten better at keeping records of my art, even botched together a makeshift portfolio to keep all the loose drawings I have safe ^^

Prismacolors on 80gsm "layout" paper, lined with a 0.5 Staedtler Pigment Liner pen <-- really nice pens for lineart, available in a range of nib sizes, waterproof and fade-resistant. Highly recommend them
